| Comfort conditioning
systems designed and installed by PERT are in use in offices, factories,
retail outlets and throughout the leisure, hotel and business sectors. The
majority of our applications which cover open plan or individual office areas,
use ceiling cassette or wall mounted split systems. These systems commonly
known as Direct Expansion, (DX), use a refrigerant gas as the cooling
medium. |

| In the majority of cases fresh air is
introduced via ductwork and grilles directly into the conditioned space or via
ceiling cassette units. |

| For larger projects PERT are
able to offer either a chilled water system using internal fan coil
units served by external chiller plants or the more sophisticated "Variable
Refrigerant Volume" (V.R.V.) systems also utilising fan coil units served
by external condensing units. When either a DX or "VRV" system is installed,
not only can cooling be provided but also heating can be achieved by installing
reverse cycle heat pumps. This is an extremely cost effective way of providing
heating during winter months. |
